Emergency support when you need us most
If your cat needs urgent care, we’re here to help. During our opening hours, please contact the clinic immediately so we can prepare for your arrival and ensure your pet is seen promptly. Our experienced team has the facilities, equipment, and expertise to handle a wide range of emergencies with care and compassion.
Outside of our opening hours, you’ll still be supported. We work closely with Edinburgh Vets Now, who provide out-of-hours care and forward full clinical details to us, so we always know what treatment has been given.
Vets Now cover evenings after we close and weekends from Saturday lunchtime. Their number is 0131 444 0990, but it’s usually best to call us first - our answer machine will provide the current emergency contact details if we’re unavailable. They can also offer advice if your cat’s situation cannot wait until we reopen.
Please note that using Vets Now incurs an additional out-of-hours emergency fee.
