Jennifer Divitt-Smith

BVMS MRCVS

Jenny graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 1998 before going to work in a mixed practice in the North East of England. She then took a year out to travel and locumed throughout Britain for a further year on her return.

Claire Ferries

MVB, MRCVS

Claire graduated from University College Dublin in 2002. She worked in small animal practice in England for 4 years before accepting a position with a charitable organisation in Mauritius working to improve the lives of the numerous cats and dogs on the island.

Catriona McHardy

BVMS MRCVS

Having graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 1995, Cat has a wealth of experience in small animal veterinary medicine. She joined The Cat Clinic team in May 2021.

Sarah Barker

BVM&S MRCVS

Sarah graduated from Edinburgh Vet School in 2019. After graduating she worked in small animal practice in the United States for six years before making the permanent move back to Scotland.

Lucinda MacDonald

RVN

Luci is our longest -standing RVN, having joined our team in September 2019. With an eye for detail and organisation, Luci is integral to the smooth running of the clinic. Her passion for cats is unquestionable - there's nothing she loves more than a kitten to cuddle and her calm, confident nursing skills pay dividends with our nervous kitties.

Sam Briggs

RVN

Sam joined us in 2021 and has proven himself a caring, compassionate and empathetic nurse. He is always keen to learn and to ensure that we, as a clinic, maintain our highest standards of clinical care.

Jen McLaughlin

RVN

Jen joined the team in the summer of 2025 after having spent the last 18 years in London. After spending the last 15 years in various small animal practices, she decided that as a cat crazy nurse, feline medicine was the only to go, so she is thrilled to be part of the team at the Cat Clinic!

Alima Husain

Alima joined the clinic in June 2025. She loves being in the veterinary industry and has completed 2 years of her veterinary nursing as well as worked in other practices.

Jo Barron

Jo joined The Cat Clinic team in the summer of 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience. She began her veterinary career in 1996 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1999. After several years in nursing, Jo transitioned into veterinary IT where she honed her skills in technology. She later moved into practice management combining her clinical and technical backgrounds to support both teams and clients.

Kim Clark

Kim has worked in small animal practice since 1989 when she first began her vet nurse training. Since joining The Cat Clinic in 2004, she has worked in a number of roles from nursing to reception and more recently, as our reception staff team leader.

Emma Bamelis

Emma joined The Cat Clinic in the summer of 2013. Emma previously worked as a Veterinary Receptionist in Qatar in the Middle East where she re-homed four stray dogs and brought them back with her to the UK. As well as helping the stray dogs, she also helped with a TNR (Trap Neuter Release) programme for many stray cats in her compound as well as fundraising and volunteering for the animal charities in the country.

Elaine Allan

Elaine joined the clinic in March 2025 and comes from a mainly dental reception background. She has also worked for the SSPCA in their emergency call centre.

Julia Anoardo

Julia is currently a student at the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies. You will often see her on Saturday mornings or during school breaks giving us a helping hand! Julia has previously worked as a Vet Tech in Canada. She has a cat named Weston whom she adores.
