The introduction of our new practice management system has allowed us to move to a fairer, more flexible reward scheme for our clients - still rewarding loyalty to the clinic but now allowing us to include clients right from their initial visit with their cat(s).
Who is eligible?
Clients are eligible for the Cat Clinic Point Scheme from time of their first visit with at least one cat.
How do I generate points?
Almost all spend within The Cat Clinic will generate points. The number of points varies between 3-5% with a higher level of points being earned on preventative healthcare products such as flea and worm treatments as well as prescription foods.
From time to time we may run promotions on certain items and will notify you in the clinic when these are available.
How do I spend my points? The Cat Clinic computer system will automatically calculate points earned with each visit. These points may be redeemed in denominations of £1 against any transaction with The Cat Clinic. Points may be redeemed immediately or, if you prefer, saved up for a bigger purchase in the future.
We can also offer you the opportunity to DONATE your points to help support our charity partner, currently Paws Pantry, the pet foodbank run by Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home.
Points are personal and may not be pooled with another client.
Cat Clinic Points have no cash value.
What’s not included:
- Lothian Cat Rescue fees – these are already significantly discounted.
- postage fees.
What happens if I move veterinary clinics? If you move to a different veterinary clinic, your cat’s medical history will be transferred upon your request. If you have no remaining cats registered with The Cat Clinic, your client file will be inactivated and any remaining points balance will be lost.
What happens if I don’t attend The Cat Clinic for a long time? In compliance with GDPR, HMRC and RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) regulations personal data may only be held while it is still relevant. The records of any clients who have not attended The Cat Clinic for a 7 year period will be deactivated. Any remaining points balance will be lost when this happens.
