 THE
MOGGIE:
In the cat world, the "mongrel" or non-pedigree varieties go
by the names of Domestic Short Hairs (DSH) or Domestic Long
Hairs (DLH). In the UK, we also affectionately refer to these
cats as "moggies".
Appearance: Full variety of coat colours and patterns.
Tend to have cobby body shape (thickset, rounded).
Temperament: Variable.
Hereditary Diseases: None as such, but due to the wide
gene pool the DSH or DLH has the potential to carry many conditions.
