Appearance: Although the breed originated in Turkey in the 1600’s, the Angora of today is artificially created from the Oriental Shorthair and so share much of body shape of their shorthaired counterparts. White is far and away the predominate colour, but lilac, cinnamon and chocolate have been developed.

Temperament: Playful, friendly.
