Simon
Pope, BVSc., MRCVS (Veterinary Surgeon)
Simon
graduated from Liverpool University in 1989. At the start
of his career, he worked with all species from cattle and
horses to hamsters and goldfish. As time passed, he realised
his professional interests lay in the small animal world.
In 1996, he moved to Edinburgh to work in a small animal
practice and in 2002 he joined us at The Veterinary Cat
Clinic. In 2003 he became a Director and partner in the
clinic. A keen surgeon, Simon is developing the surgical
facilities and procedures behind the scenes at the clinic.
In quiet moments, his dexterous skills are also proving
invaluable when we're in need of a plumber, electrician
or joiner! |

Jenny Divitt-Smith, BVMS, MRCVS
(Veterinary Surgeon)
Jenny graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 1998 before
going to work in a mixed practice in the North East of
England. She then took a year out to travel and locumed
through out Britain for a further year on her return.
Jenny has spent the last few years working in small animal
practice in Glasgow, moving through to Edinburgh shortly
before her marriage in the summer of 2006.

Martha Murphy, BVM&S, MRCVS
(Veterinary Surgeon)
Martha graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2008.
She worked in a very busy small animal practice in Dewsbury
for 8 months before moving back to Edinburgh and locuming
all over the UK in small animal practices. She has always
wanted to work in a cat only practice. Her own cat "Alfie"
is a rescue cat who is deaf so has special needs. Martha
has always owned cats since she was born and is self-confessed
"cat crazy"!

Kim
Clark (Veterinary Nursing Assistant)
Kim has worked in small animal veterinary practice since
May 1989. She has an elderly cat called Cosworth - named
after a car engine which combines her love of animals with
her other interest which is motorsport. Kim has gained certificates
over the years in Hills Pet Nutrition and as a Petplan Pet
Insurance Advisor. |

Steph
Watson BSc Veterinary Nursing (Honours) RVN (Veterinary
Nurse) Steph
graduated in 2010 from Edinburgh Napier University with
a BSc Veterinary
Nursing (Honours). At school, she did work experience
at a zoo and fell in love with the idea of a career with
animals. She has worked in small animal practices both
in the UK and overseas. Her favourite part of the job
is caring for her patients, making sure all are as comfortable
as possible.

Diane
Smillie (Veterinary Receptionist)
Diane has worked in veterinary practice since 2004. She
has loved animals from an early age. She has three dogs,
which keep her very busy. |
